Muay Thai, also known as “The Science of Eight Limbs,” is a martial art originating from Thailand. It is a full body striking system using punches, kicks, knees and elbows. It is a lethal combative fighting structure, making it an important part of a MMA fighter’s skill set, a full body fitness regime and an effective self defence system.

When teaching women I like to highlight the aspects of Muay Thai that are extremely effective in self defence. As in striking with elbows and knees and learning viable close encounter defence.

Muay Thai is also a great physical workout that will build your conditioning and endurance. It will push your cardio level to new heights and challenge you along the way.
